As a romcom movie enthusiast, I had to do the book cover about one of my favorites movies, 50 First Dates. I used iStockphoto.com to find the images I used for this project, which are the image of a butterfly and the image with a silhouette of a woman made of flowers. After uploading the image into Adobe Photoshop, I used the crop tool to isolate the part of the image I intended to use. Next, I used the Select Subject tool to crop the image object I wanted to copy and paste into the project in Canva, which is the photo editing tool I used to create the book cover. To create the logo, I use the photo editing tool Canva. On the site's home page, use the search bar to search for logos, and then select the Create a blank logo option. I open a text box to type a capital letter K in the Maharlika font. Since I like flowers, I went to the items tab and searched for flowers to choose one I liked. Next, I wanted to make a curved line below the initial letter, but I couldn't find the right way to modify the line with the curve setting. Therefore, I looked for a template with the line I envision, and I copy and pasted to my design. After that, I opened another text box to write my name with the curve feature that you can select on the effects tab. To cover the gap between the flowers and my name, I went again to the elements tab, clicked shapes, and then the star. I also change the color of the line and text to green and gold/brown for the star shape.
